Having spent most of his younger years drawing and painting, Nick further developed his artistic talent by studying at Sydney’s renowned National Art School immediately after high school. Being broken down and rebuilt again to achieve a strong technical basis, he focused on illustrative art with complex backgrounds and scenes in which the characters portray a sense of dialogue.
Nick began tattooing in 2011 through a tattoo apprenticeship in a busy street shop. Here, he learned to tattoo in a vast array of styles. Nicks background in realism and illustration bled into his tattooing approach through his designs and concepts, including large and fine line scale tattoos in both colour and black and grey. He continued his career at LDF tattoo and is now working at Lighthouse tattoo. Nick enjoys tattooing large and realistic underwater, nature and space scenes with strong colours and dynamic characters.
